Two-Day Advanced Precision Rifle Course



The Advanced Precision Rifle Course is a two-day class designed for the shooter wants to take their marksmanship to the next level. The course begins with a refresher from our One-Day Basic Precision Rifle Course. The course then transitions into a more complex curriculum that involves: external ballistics, advanced wind reading techniques, range estimation, utilizing hold-overs, alternate firing positions, and stress-induced shooting techniques.



Shooter MUST understand all safety standards. Shooter MUST be able to zero rifle and operate scope without instruction. It is highly recommended that the shooter have some basic formal training in precision rifle or have attended our One-Day Basic Precision Rifle


Course Goals:

Each shooter will be individually evaluated at the beginning and end of the course with a practical exercise. Shooter will be able to develop consistent data (“DOPE”) for rifle engagements out to 1000+ yards. Shooter will be able to identify specific wind indicators and adjust for wind. Shooters will be able to estimate target ranges without a range finder. Shooter will become proficient in engaging multiple targets at different ranges in a short amount of time. Shooter will become familiarized with shooting from barricades, standing, kneeling, and other obstacles. Shooter will implement stress reduction techniques.


Course length:

2 Days - Approximately 8-10 hour days. Class starts promptly at 08:00 hrs.


Equipment Requirements:

  • Bolt or gas operated rifle capable of 1MOA of accuracy, with attached bipod.

  • 10x powered scope or better with turret adjustments of 1 MOA, 1⁄2 MOA, 1⁄4 MOA, 0.1 MIL,

    or 0.2 MIL. reticle MUST have measuring capabilities.

  • Calculator

  • Ballistic Calculator (app or independent device)

  • Rear shooting support AKA “Rear Bag”

  • Sling

  • Hearing protection

  • Eye protection

  • Chamber flag

  • Rifle Cleaning Kit


Recommended Equipment (Not Required):

  • Chronograph – MagnetoSpeed is recommended.

  • Spotting Scope

  • Weather meter - Kestrel and Geo Ballistics are recommended.

  • Weapon tool kit

  • Rain gear

  • Shooting mat

  • Tripod with ball head and vice/mount.


  • Round Count:

  • 200 rounds of match grade ammunition. Recommended factory match grade ammunition companies are: PRIME, NEXUS, HORNADY, and FEDERAL.

  • Cost:

    $500.00 per shooter
    $100.00 per rifle rental. Shooter is responsible for ammunition.


  • Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be done 4 weeks in advance to the class date to receive a full refund.  Last minute cancellations will be refunded in its entirety if the slot is filled, otherwise shooter will not recieve a refund.
